Handbook of Country Risk Release Conference & Country Risk Management Forum of SINOSURE in 2024 Held in Beijing

　　On October 25, SINOSURE held the Handbook of Country Risk Release Conference & the Country Risk Management Forum in Beijing. Along with the Handbook, a Global Risk Map and a Global Risk Globe were also released officially. SINOSURE Chairman Song Shuguang delivered a speech.. President Sheng Hetai presented an interpretation on this Handbook. Several experts made keynote speeches on hot topics.

　　The year 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the public release of this Handbook. This year's Handbook is comprised of two volumes: Risk Analysis of 41 Key Countries and Analysis on Global Investment Risk, Industry Risk and Corporate Bankruptcy Risk.

　　The Handbook released features insights into the pillars of a country's economic growth from perspective of industrial structure; a comprehensive view of a country's risk exposure in politics, economy, legal and business environment; analysis of a country's economic trends through data spanning fiscal revenue, international payment balance, external debt, exchange rates, employment, etc.; and recommendations to Chinese enterprises in market expansion, project promotion, and risk control.

　　The Handbook highlights that joint efforts by the government, enterprises and financial institutions should be made to help address the challenges that China is facing both at home and abroad. In view of this, policy recommendations include strengthening the response to security risks related to geopolitics and power rivalry, taking opportunities of emerging technologies while preventing associated risks, enhancing debt risk early warning and participating in international debt governance, and leveraging on export credit insurance effectively against credit risks.
