2024 SINOSURE-Banking Cooperation Conference Is Held
From May 30 to 31, 2024, SINOSURE hosted the 2024 SINOSURE-Banking Cooperation Conference in Qingdao, Shandong, where the awards ceremony of “Cooperation of the Year” and the launch event of the "SINOSURE-backed Financing Index" were held on the sideline.
In his remarks, SINOSURE Vice President Zhang Hui summarized the achievements of SINOSURE over the past year in fulfilling policy functions, contributing to high-quality BRI cooperation, promoting qualitative and quantitative stability of foreign trade, and continuously deepening cooperation with the banking community. Mr. Zhang provided in-depth analysis of the business development landscape as well as proposals for forging a higher level of cooperation between SINOSURE and the banks.
Representatives from China CITIC Bank, ING Bank, and Zhejiang Tailong Commercial Bank shared respectively their experiences in working with SINOSURE and views of prospects for future cooperation.
Head of SINOSURE's Market Development and Customer Service Department offered recommendations to partner banks on leveraging complementary advantages and strengthening synergy, jointly developing business of key industries and countries, effectively improving customer service capabilities, and building digital ecosystem for the cooperation between SINOSURE and the banks.
Mr. Zhang Hui presented the awards to relevant partner banks. Export-Import Bank of China, BNP Paribas, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China were awarded "Cooperation of the Year: Green Finance”. China Construction Bank, Zhejiang Tailong Commercial Bank, China CITIC Bank, and CZBank were granted "Cooperation of the Year: SME Business”. HSBC, Agricultural Bank of China, and China Minsheng Bank received awards of "Cooperation of the Year: Small and Beautiful Projects”. Bank of China, ING Bank, and Bank of Communications were honored “Cooperation of the Year: Special Contribution”.
The "SINOSURE-backed Financing Index", released at the conference, was built on SINOSURE's years of business experiences and proprietary data accumulation. The index, based on data modeling, could help the banks in gauging the risk profiles of exporters and making sound financing decisions.
At the breakout sessions of project insurance and trade insurance, experts from partner banks, relevant departments and branches of SINOSURE shared insights on various topics, including business support policies, key markets and industries analysis, product and business model innovation, case studies of underwriting and claims, digital ecosystem of SINOSURE-banking cooperation, and financing experiences of the banks.
