Two FPSO Projects, Brazil
In August, SINOSURE provided guarantees of down payment and performance to P-84 and P-85 FPSOs contracted by CIMC Raffles as EPC contractor, with Petrobras, the world's largest FPSO user. CIMC Raffles is responsible for the hulls, living quarters and some modules. Upon completion, the two vessels will be deployed in the Atapu and Sepia oil fields, east of Santos Basin of Brazil, 200 km offshore from Rio de Janeiro. Each of these next-generation FPSOs has a daily capacity of 225,000 barrels of oil production and 10 million m3 of gas processing. Known for their high productivity, these FPSOs are featured by innovative technologies for sustainable development, such as zero routine flaring and emissions, variable speed drives, CCUS tech, etc., which can reduce 30% GHG emissions.
